Why reglaze instead of buying new glasses?
A good frame outlives its lenses several times over. Prescriptions drift, coatings wear, screens demand new filters — but a frame that fits your face, your style and your memories is worth keeping. Reglazing gives you brand-new optics without the compromise of new frames, and typically costs a fraction of a full new pair from a Dubai mall optician.

The lenses we fit
Single vision, progressive, office and sun lenses, from Essilor (authorised distributor) and EGMA, a Dubai independent lab. Crizal coatings against scratches, reflections and smudges. Transitions light-adaptive tints, including the new Sapphire and Ruby colours. High-index materials up to 1.74 for strong prescriptions and rimless frames.
Your prescription is read from a photo and verified by a licensed optician before any lens is cut — and the grid of what we offer you is filtered by what is actually manufacturable for your correction and safe for your frame type. What you can order is what we can make.
Pricing that stays honest
Always 25% off the official price list — you see both prices side by side before paying, and the total includes VAT and fitting. A second pair, reglazed at the same time, gets 40% off its lenses. Your frame is covered at market value while it is with us, and every coating carries a one-year guarantee.

What does reglazing glasses mean?
Reglazing means fitting new lenses into a frame you already own — new prescription, new coatings, same frame. It is also called lens replacement or re-lensing. The frame is measured, the new lenses are cut precisely to its shape, fitted, and checked before the glasses come back to you.
Is it worth reglazing glasses?
If the frame fits well and is in good condition, almost always. You get brand-new optics — often better than the originals, with current coatings and thinner materials — at well below the price of a comparable new pair. For discontinued or sentimental frames it is the only option.
Can rimless glasses be reglazed?
Yes. Rimless and semi-rimless frames need tougher, higher-index materials — we automatically restrict the choice to 1.60 and above so the drilled or grooved lens holds safely. That filtering is built into the order flow, so you cannot pick a combination that would not last.
How much does reglazing cost in Dubai?
It depends on the lens you choose — single vision or progressive, the index, the coating. What never changes: every option is at least 25% below the official price list, the exact price is shown before you pay, and there are no surprises at collection. Prices include 5% VAT.
